The BPM Research Group is part of QUT’s Science and Engineering Faculty research portfolio, and is one of the biggest and most influential BPM research groups with significant third-party funded research projects and major industry linkages. The BPM Research Group includes members from QUT’s Science and Engineering Faculty as well as a number of high-profile affiliate academics from around the globe.
Always on the exciting edge of the business process management discipline, the BPM Research Group has an accumulative international and local portfolio of expertise in Business, Information Systems and Computer Science. Our discipline is regarded as one of the leading BPM research groups in the world; specialising in process automation, process data analytics (process mining), and process management. We cover both technical and business aspects of BPM using conceptual-analytical and empirical research.
Located in the heart of Brisbane City in the new Science and Engineering Centre, the main office of the BPM Research Group provides convenient access for industry partners, professionals and students alike in Australia. It brings together teaching, research and service in a world-leading model and dynamic community hub.
