Business Process Analysis and Redesign

Improving business processes is on top of the agenda for chief and senior executives. This requires a solid understanding of current and future business processes and an approach for continuously managing these processes and changing them to warrant sustainable business improvement.

This 3-day course is about business process identification, analysis and improvement. After introducing the main concepts of BPM, the course presents a structured approach to business process lifecycle management, with a focus on the three key phases of process identification, analysis and improvement. For each of these phases, the course illustrates the underlying techniques and associated state-of-the-art methods, and demonstrates their application on real-life processes. Numerous practical exercises and a final case study help put in practice the content learned throughout the course.

This course complements the content of the course Business Process Modelling with BPMN (3 days) and is also offered in combination with the latter as part of the Operational Business Process Management course (6 days).
